02 About

The people behind the beans.

Our journey, values, and commitment to quality - built patiently since 2012, lot by lot, relationship by relationship.

01 The Beginning

From one processing line in Nalukolongo.

Karaz Coffee Factory Limited began as a coffee processing and export venture more than a decade ago. In January 2012 we were formally registered as a private limited company under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau - and from that day, compliance has been the backbone of how we operate.

From a single processing line in Nalukolongo, Kampala, we have grown into a trusted processor and exporter of Uganda Robusta - building direct relationships with farmer cooperatives, investing in grading and quality control, and preparing our operations for the world's most demanding markets, including the European Union.

02 Mission & Vision
Mission

To process and export clean, traceable, export-grade Uganda Robusta - paying farmers fairly and treating compliance as a promise, not a burden.

Vision

To become the leading intercropped coffee producer and exporter in Uganda, backed by a household-managed supply chain.

03 Sustainability

A farming household that earns all year stays in coffee.

That's the whole model. We promote intercropped production - coffee paired with high-value food crops like soybeans, beans, and groundnuts - so families have income between coffee seasons, can afford fertilizer to lift yields, and treat coffee as a dependable cash crop rather than a gamble.

We back this with direct cooperative partnerships, transparent pricing, and farm-level mapping that doubles as the foundation of our EUDR traceability.
